Job Descriptions

Trying to find or write job descriptions for the role you are looking for in your church can be very difficult and frustrating - where do you start?

We have made some generic broad based Job Descriptions for the roles laid out on our Checklist. We realise that every setting will have different requirements of a volunteer for your particular group, so we have used 'Summary of Possible Activities' to hopefully highlight different activities volunteers could be involved in - if we have missed something obvious that really should be included, or require a copy in Word format for editing, then please contact the Circuit Safeguarding Officer.

We have also added links to information sheets and websites.

The job descriptions included details on how to apply for a DBS check, training required and details of the other forms that the applicant should be receiving.
